Wolf boy can no more return to human society even if trained by psychologic experts. They remain wolf behaveor. Have you even heard that?
I'm not sure about a boy, but yes there were TWO girls (twins) that apparently were found living w/a wolf pack in India.
There was a boy in Germany...or Austria (can't remember which) who was raised either by wolves or wild dogs....anyway, this was either in the 1700s or 1800s. A scientist; who was very interested in this boy, worked with him for a couple years. He was trying to prove his theory that with slow reintroduction he could get a 'wild child' to learn to speak and understand language. there had been a huge debate about whether a wild child could learn these skills after a certain age. that after the age of say 4-6 language skills would be lost to a child never introduced to language at all.
He worked w/this boy, and he became quite civilized in his behavior and social skills, but he was never able to speak, or understand much language...though he learned to mimic sounds through banging on a drum or ringing a bell copying a pattern laid out by the scientist on his own drum and/or bell.
It was sad story really. When the scientist figured he could not get the boy to learn language skills he abandoned the idea...and the boy to his housekeeper who was very fond of him, and raised him as her own. He was considered a "lunatic" (i.e. mentally challenged)
