My 6-month old baby has a persistent, dry cough?
Her cough is dry- no mucus at all. It sounds like a cackle, like bert- from Bert and Ernie. She coughs especially when she's upright or gets excited. My husband and I are recovering from colds... she goes to the doc tomorrow. The cough comes and goes, but when it comes, sometimes it just keeps going and going. It sounds like she's laughing and clearing her throat. Any remedy... or just let it pass for now?
Could also be from teething - when kids are teething there is an abundance of saliva that will cause them to have a dry cough like this.
