how is this cage for a ferret?
I feel like I should do better for him, but I don't have the money. Anyways what do you think of his cage:

He has 2 food dishes, 2 water bottles, a crinkle tube, a tube that goes from top level to bottom level, 2 hammocks, 2 fleece beds, a Fleece Blanket, a fleece hanging ball, bell toys, a litter box and link toys. Lots of other toys (balls w/ bells, rubber bones/circlets, plush toys, cat toys)
Okay, in response to other people's points.The cage is the perfect size, but I would suggest taking out a bed or two to create space. This is great for two reasons, there is more room to play and when you wash the other stuff you can put it in for him to sleep on. I would take out the red bed for now and have that whole top floor be for play, the second floor be for sleeping and the bottom floor be for his bathroom.
The wire flooring is bad for their feet, so you definitely have to put down some blankets, newspaper, linoleum, carpet, etc (no wood though!)
About the toys, there is not "too much" toys but if you do rotate the toys they get to experience the joy of discovering the "new" toys all over again. You can also take the toys and rub them in some dirt or food for extra stimulation.The tube is a better toy for outside the cage, it'll be hard for it to go from each level with it in there so I suggest taking it out.
And Ron Sr is so right, the perfect "toy" for a ferret is another ferret! It is less work but they require less attention (this does not mean the other ferret can replace any time with you, though.) They can wrestle together and curl up to sleep. If you get another ferret you don't need to add anything else because your cage is awesome!

I wouldn't go as far as to say Geller was lecturing Jr. about his father other than as to his political philosophy. It is fair to say I think that while Ron Sr. most likely was not ashamed of his son as a human being, he may have been of his political views. As I am sure Jr. is probably ashamed of his father's view's.
I think it was a cheap shot and intellectually dishonest of him to pull the “you've never met him so you can't have an opinion” ploy. You've never met George Bush but I imagine you have a different opinion of him than that of his family members.
confused why the title has “green chemistry” in it, as there doesn’t seems to be a much “green” involved (not that green chemistry implies environmentally friendly). From what I understand, the term implies taking measures such as reusing materials and maximizing on energy input and such, which does seem to be involved in what he’s talking about, but the fact remains that he is talking about making water bottles here!
