How do I make my 3 month old enjoy "Tummy Time?"?
She will lay on her tummy for about 2 minutes and she can hold herself up but she won't kick and move her arms. Is it too soon for her to be enjoying it? I've tried playing with her, holding up mirrors, using the tummy time mats, etc but nothing seems to work. Suggestions?
It's important for her to have tummy time, but its also important for her to be happy. So I wouldn't force it too much, 5 minutes here, 10 there, as long as she is holding her head up, that's what matters. She may grow to love it or she may continue hating it. Either way, it won't hurt her to not have that much tummy time, you can also lay on your back with her tummy to tummy with you. Good luck!
