Do you think its wrong to have sex with your new baby in the bassinet next to your bed?
I Just now remembered when my son was about 2-3 months old, my ex husband wanted me to have sex with him in the bedroom while our new Baby Boy lay in a little bassinet like thing next to our bed. I threw a fit and told him no way, but he thought it was allright. Whats your opinoin? I still think its sick.
I'm laughing right now only because the first time I read your question I really misunderstood it. Perhaps it could have been worded differently!
It's not wrong or right, it's the values you have been brought up to believe. Obviously you believe sex should be extremely private. For those who are more open, they would not have a problem with it. The child in question is way too young to know what is going on or retain any memory of it.
That being said, the only reason I would not have sex in the same room as my young child is that I would wake it up (yes I am noisy LOL). Heck even in his own room I worry that I might wake him up! That being said, it was my husband who felt weird about having the baby in the same room as us when we were ready to resume our sex life. Then again he also kicks the dog out of the room and closes the door so the cats can't get in.
It's a personal preference and level of openness and comfort that determines what is acceptable and what isn't when it comes to sex. I'm guessing you two never resolved the differences in those levels between the two of you since you refer to him as your ex!
