Other than a crib, what baby furniture are you planning to buy and how much do you plan to pay?
I have been looking around and really don't know what to buy. I know I need a crib but I am assuming I need some sort of chest or dresser as well, right?
I have looked at Target and Burlington Coat Factory and a couple of resale shops. What is the average price to pay for these items? What are you planning to pay? What all are you planning to buy?
I want a crib, a dresser or chest, a bassinet, and a swing to start. I am also going to buy other nursery decor. I have set aside $1,000 to buy these items. Will that be enough? We are not good savers and are really going to have make a change and get serious with budgeting now that we'll have a child.

You can get a bedroom set (crib, changing table, and dresser) for $200 from Walmart. Grab a mattress for $50, swing for $90, and call it good for $340.
