Do I need to buy "disposable changing pads"?
I am 28 weeks and I want to start buying everything I am going to need. I was looking online and saw disposable changing pads to travel with for a clean diaper changing. Are they necessary or do you use something else? Are they washable?
They're a waste of money and the environment. You're supposed to use them and discard them, and they aren't washable.
Instead, get a couple of lap pads or travel with an extra Baby Blanket or 2, and wash them at your destination. With a new baby, you'll be doing laundry often anyway, so it's not trouble to get a permanent changing blanket and re-use.
Congratulations to you!
