I think it interesting that Cameron and Jacobvici made several references to the Da Vinci code. According to the Da Vinci code, St. Mary Magdalene is buried in France. The whole reason for the Da Vinci code is to protect her lineage from the child she took to France. If the Da Vinci code is true, Cameron and Jacobvici's findings are bogus. She can't be buried in two places.

A drop-crib is a crib that has one side which drops or lowers down to make it easier to reach the child in the crib. This is good for people who are on the side, those who expect to be pregnant again while they still have a child in a crib (trust me, reaching a toddler in a crib while pregnant is a feat!), or those who have trouble reaching/lifting.
A crib, on the other hand, is one that can be into something other than a crib. Often a crib can be made into a daybed with the same Crib Mattress and then a full-size bed with the addition of a full-size mattress and bedrails (essentially the crib becomes the head and footboard.)
I think that drop-side cribs are but there may be models out there that are both.
