What size tank in foot does a full grown corn snake need to live in?

What age can you transfer them into a Full Size home?

Upon reaching full adult size (about three to four years), a corn snake will require an enclosure with the minimum dimensions of a standard twenty gallon long aquarium.

These days especially small homes should sell faster, as they are more affordable. With economic troubles, peoples' desires to own their home do not go away, but their ability to afford Full Size homes do.

Also, married couples are having smaller families (fewer children) than they used to, and many families are single-parent households. The fewer people you have living in a house, the smaller it needs to be.

Also, smaller homes are popular in some regions among college students or recent graduates who do not wish to live in dorm or apartment-style housing.

Finally (and of course), newly weds will often purchase starter homes safely assuming that they will not run out of room any time soon (at least not within the first 9 months to 3 years.

There are simply so many more markets for small starter homes – economically and socially among others – that they undoubtedly must sell faster than full-size family homes.

I think what your psych prof is getting at is human verses animal behaviors. Another example to use could be laughing. It is inappropriate to laugh at a funeral or during any kind of serious speech, etc but in other social situations it is appropriate or even encouraged. Whispering is appropriate in a library or theater when needing to communicate, but is considered rude if in a group of friends where all are not privy to what is being communicated. Cursing is a human behavior that might be okay when done in places (among friends at a in the home, etc) but not in others (church, school, etc).
Hope this helps give you ideas.
